Holiday 2013: Too Faced A Few of my Favorite Things Palette Review and Swatches!

Ho! ho! ho!.
...oh wait it isnt Santa that brought this here...more like *muahahahah (evil laugh) MEEEEEEE!

I've been "visiting" my local Sephora for holiday collections since its the best time of the year to get the most awesome deal from brands across the universe. I was a wee bit hesitant to purchase this because it costs a wee bit much ($56) but I figured what the heck (the chevron pink print was too cute to put down!)

What you get from this set:
1. Makeup palette with 20 eyeshadows (with ooober cute names)
2. OOOber cute pink and gold chevron pink pouch
3. Lip injection color bomb in Bee Sting
4. Deluxe sample size of the the Better than sex mascara.

ooooh la laaaa!

Bee sting lip injection swatch

All swatches are on my dry hand with no primer
L to R: Dark Chocolate, Blue Satin Sheets, Soiree, Pure glam
Dark Chocolate: texture was a bit hard but had good pigmentation..it wasnt as buttery as I expected
Blue Satin Sheets: not so buttery but really awesome pigmentation
Soiree: really nice deep burgundy..a little powdery but pigmented
Pure glam: a wee bit powdery, not as buttery as the black eyeshadow from the pretty rebel palette

L to R: Moon on their Wings, Evergreen, Woolen Mittens, Party time
Moon on their Wings: chunky glittery champagne color, not a fan of this shade, similar to UD glittery shades with a bunch of fall out
Evergreen: gorgeous forest green, nice buttery texture and pigmentation
Woolen Mittens: muted brownish matte taupe...best texture, so soft and buttery
Party time: royal purplish blue, nice texture, wasnt as pigmented as it looks in the pan

L to R: Chocolate Milk, Buche De Noel, Crisp Apple Strudel, Ooh la Orchid
All shades in this group are really buttery and creamy. The purple one may be a wee bit powdery but its pretty!

L to R: Whiskers on kittens, Honey honey, Taffy, Bluff
Arent these the cutest eyeshadow names EVER??! If kittens had glitters on their whiskers, itd be the most awesome thing ever! Some shadows in this group may be similar to the ones from the pretty rebel palette.

L to R: Snowflakes, Cream colored ponies, Coquet, Tinsel
Pretty standard group, awesome pigmentation and I like the green shade.

L to R: Randrops on Roses blush, Melt into Spring blush, Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, Sunny Bunny bronzer
Randrops on Roses blush: pretty pink blush with tiny silver glitters, not too chunky...its a pretty color
Melt into Spring blush: warm peachy pink, completely matte and really gorgeous for fall!!! :D
Chocolate Soleil Bronzer: cult fave!
Sunny Bunny bronzer: cult fave!

size comparison to UD Vice palette

size comparison to a standard 15 well mac palette

its pretty thin and compact!

the back of the box with all the shadow shades!
Final Thoughts: I think this years holiday palette is a winner! Not all the shades were wonderful, some had glittery chunks but nothing too difficult. I love how compact and travel friendly this palette is. It looks like a really cute journal that you can carry along with you and you can easily store this palette as well since its quite thin! :D

Hope this was helpful!
