Here is a quick review and comparison of the new covergirl outlast extreme wear foundation to the outlast all-day stay fabulous that I reviewed 7 years ago. I am very fond of the the outlast stay fabulous foundation thats why I was curious on how it would compare to the new Xtreme wear line.
First off my skin type, if you've followed me for a while you guys know that I have very oily acne prone skin. I have a lot of acne scarring on my cheeks and forehead thats why I prefer products that would offer a good coverage without piling on too much product.
Application:
The original outlast stay fabulous feels a lot lighter on the skin compared to the new extreme wear foundation. The extreme wear foundation is a lot creamier and provided a more even non streaky application on my skin when I applied to the left side of my face.
Both products had pretty awesome coverage and staying power. I don't think I got a 24hr wear with the extreme wear because it made me oilier compared to the original outlast.
The new extreme wear is cruelty free while the old formulation is not so something to keep in mind.
Overall I would still recommend this foundation. It has really great coverage and I do like the cruelty free aspect of it.
