Charmed Souls by Abbi Glines Book Review

If you’re looking for a magical read you might like Charmed Souls by @abbiglines

The story follows Catalina Delvaux who possesses great magic. It’s the beginning of a series so the story is an introduction to her figuring out her place in the world, nurturing her magic and standing ground on her beliefs. I can’t wait till the second book!

Another book done, another story told.  (PS book review might include spoilers, the keyboard sometimes gets away from me don't say I didn't warn you)

The Princess Ballot by Jaymin Eve and Tate James Book Review

Princess Ballot by @jaymineve & @tatejamesauthor
My rating in emojis: 🤩😫

The story follows an orphan girl named Violet Rose Spencer in a somewhat dystopian setting. She lives in what they now call New America where the world has been divided into kingdoms. She gets chosen out of 15 million applicants to attend the most prestigious school in the world for college where even royal heirs of the world attend. The lottery she wins is dubbed as the “princess ballot” since all the lottery winners in the past has married into royalty

I’ve been reading a lot of dark academy bully romances on kindle unlimited lately so I wanted to read something somewhat not as dark lol. This fit the bill. I enjoyed the book thoroughly and the story has a lot of potential for scandals and plot twists that I’m excited for. .
That ending got me shook and April can’t come sooner enough for the second book! I think Violet will be delivering some major ass whooping and the romance will probably be taken up a notch on the steamy scale and i can’t wait! Lol
Another book done, another story told. BOOK #153 YTD (PS book review might include spoilers, the keyboard sometimes gets away from me don't say I didn't warn you)

Devious Lies by Parker S. Huntington Book Review

If you’re looking for a good slow burn enemies to lovers romance I really enjoyed Devious Lies by Parker S. Huntington.

It follows the story of Nash and Emery. Nash is the neighborhood bad boy in a world of elites and Emery is the resident socialite princess. The story is told throughout the years as both characters go through life changing events that shape them into their future self.
What I loved most of this book is the story telling. This is longer than a standard romance book and not once did i get bored. I loved all the words and the feels that it gave me. This book left me smiling 🤩 and I’m here for it.

Another book done, another story told.  (PS book review might include spoilers, the keyboard sometimes gets away from me don't say I didn't warn you)

Enemies by Tijan Book review

I stayed up till 5 am last night to finish this book, woke up at 8 am to help the husband load up his trailer and I’m sitting here still feeling the feels with just 3 hrs of sleep.

I’ve been reading mainly romance university books this month and @tijansbooks #Enemies really got to me. I’m a big fan of Tijan and I’ve read almost everything she’s written and this ones definitely a top fave.
The story follows Dusty and Stone. They were childhood friends that had a falling out and have become sworn enemies. Dusty starts a new life in Texas where she crosses paths again with the one person that she hates most.

This book took me on an emotional roller coaster. Dusty goes through so much in this book and I was right there with her. From heartbreak, tragedy and finding love, Tijan’s main character was everything and more that I was looking for in a main character. She wasn’t perfect but she came out strong and learned her lessons along the way that made her shine brighter.
If you’re familiar with Tijans book boyfriends, they are everything and Stone Reeves is major man candy. Ugh! He’s just perfect! He might be my next favorite book boyfriend next to Mason Kade 😍

I love this book so much and i couldn’t recommend it enough! What’s more awesome than a book with an epilogue?, a bonus epilogue!! 😭😫 I will be feeling all the feels this week thanks to Enemies ❤️
